Povo is like a local Wikipedia -- not only can you find out about stuff in your neighborhood like restaurants serving your favorite cuisine, where to park your car, the best pub to watch the Yankees or Mets play, or where to grab a bite to eat late at night, but you can add all of this to the site and edit existing information.
Povo is a people site; for you, by you, and about your neighborhood or community. We've seeded the site with businesses, parks, and other information to get things started, but the rest is up to you - the more you contribute, the more useful the site will be.
